Yesterday it was my friend Phil’s birthday, and so I arranged a Craft Crawl: we started at Moor brewery in St Phillips, and went on a tour of the brewery, being told about the in’s and out’s of the brewing process.
We had a few lovely pints before beginning the crawl: along the way we went to The Barley Mow, The Steam Crane and The Hen and Chicken before we rocked up to the Three Tuns to watch England’s first match of the 6 Nations.
Wriggle had a deal on: any main, fries and a pint for £8: I git my friends to download the Wriggle app, and use my code VFIGFT. It gave the £3 off their first wriggle purchase, taking the price down to £5. Value for money = 10/10
The pub was alive with energy because of the rugby: ambience = 10/10
Customer service: the guys behind the bar were fine: not super enthusiastic to see me, but they poured beers, and brought out food: customer service = 7/10
The food came out after 15 minutes: I was so hungry that I forgot to take a photo of the burger in all it’s glory.
The fries: no photo’s of these, but chunkier than most. Really tasty, especially with the skin on! Overall fries = 22/25
Sweet potato fries: no = 0 points
Brown bread: no = 0 points
Toppings: I didn’t see any extra available… 0 points
Sauces: quite a few on offer, but no mayo: a travesty. 4/5 points.
That burger certainly hit the spot after a long day of drinking. Total score: 75/100 points!
